Ōpunakē Loop Trail

Grade: easy to moderate
The Ōpunakē Loop Trail is the longest of the formal South Taranaki walks and takes you beside the Ōpunakē Lake, across the clifftops, through the secret garden, providing coastal vistas before offering rural views.
Suitable for low to medium fitness walkers and has variable terrain of grass, footpaths and gravel tracks and is hilly in places. You can start at any point on the track. Cyclists can expect a ride at a 2 – 3 grade.
